The pixies that power my drill press were leaking out of the old tubes due to 60ish year old wiring. Also none of the grounds were hooked up before and it would give you a nice little reminder zap to let you know it wasn’t happy every now and then. Then one day it started to smoke so idecided to get all new tubes. Somehow this was completed with only one home depot purchase.

It has a switch to change to just the direction fwd off rev or use the foot pedal and the direction switch. Super fancy.

We recently had to move our shop. Here’s our massive Clausing drill press looking very forlorn on the truck. We have a foot switch wired onto it too. So handy!
It’s so big you just lower the head down the base for transport. We used a car jack and various bits of wood to get it back up.
